If the bolt head is already hosed up, use a small cold chisel to get it out. Tap it straight onto the head until it cuts a grove on one side of the bolt head, then tilt the chisel in the cut and tap until the bolt starts to turn.

Went to change the primary oil, All screws were very tight. One rounded the the head. Any ideas how to remove without pulling the outer primary and drilling the screw out?
I've had luck using a hand impact driver, or drill it with Dremel from the outside
use a handheld impact driver (with correct bit) to break loose and you'll never round one out again.
From my days of riding a metric I use a hand impact driver and hit it with a 2 pound dead blow hammer. The torx bits I have are made for a 3/8 ratchet and work great with the hand impact driver. Used the hand impact driver to loosen the fork drain bolts too. I always use a torque wrench when putting the derby cover back on.
I used to have problems until I started using anti seize.
What I did for this, is tap at low angle with screw driver and hammer. I have done it on the bike, but easier off. Put some duct tape or more around the area to protect it for when you slip.
