I have a headlight modulator that works on high beam and only in daylight. It has a photo sensor. Also use the running lights that are wired to run with the highs.
High beams used within 500 feet of another vehicle in the badger state is illegal on top of extremely rude and dangerous.
sorry, I disagree with you. it is not illegal to drive with your highbeams on, during daylight hours. in fact, the wi. motocyclists handbook, published by your dmv, even recommends it.
yes, it is illegal to do so at night. but this discussion is about daylight use. and I have looked and have not been able to find anywhere that says during daylight use, is illegal.
like other said , some states it's illegal, some it isn't. Not 100 % sure that the high beams are noticed more or not in in driving , but high beams even in daylight can at least be irritation to other drivers, and not sure that it worth annoying them for questionable results. Also the whole light fixation thing, driving tend to drive towards what they are looking at. and if they fixate on your high beams they may drive right into you . Personally I ten to use the to flash low to low for oncoming traffic if I feel I need to make myself more readily visable.
Its proven high beams are more noticeable in daylight and fixation and driving into a rider does not happen. That's wrong. Or its 1 out millions that are seen due to the high beams.

Flashing lights are misleading. Many people assume a flashing light means go ahead and proceed. Therefore they believe you gave them the go ahead to turn right in front of you.
High beams are allowed on motorcycles in the day, the flashing light is a frequency that doesn't register as "proceed". It is more apt to be noticed however. High beams during the day are not rude nor dangerous.
Hi beam when in traffic causes a nuisance to other road users, it's also difficult for them to judge distance. A pattern of lights is better IMHO, such as passing lamps with low beam. Many other road users will recognise that not as a bike but as probably a Harley! I also have the oval fogs.
No need to run high beams in daylight. When the "Hurt Report" was published, halogen bulbs were not the standard on motorcycles, or not even cars yet.
Running a bright beam, especially a single light source, will diminish the ability to judge speed. Look at the train accident studies for the logic behind a three light triangle.
High beams are as effective in accident prevention as loud pipes.
