Running a bright beam, especially a single light source, will diminish the ability to judge speed. Look at the train accident studies for the logic behind a three light triangle.

High beams are as effective in accident prevention as loud pipes.
A single light source isn't ideal, true. But high beams absolutely are needed during the daylight, they make a big difference. And yes, a silent electric bike is far more dangerous than a louder than stock Harley.

I have been on the road with oncoming bikes with their highbeams on. during the day, it is not blinding. I don't know where people come up with this....

I run daytime with high beam on and spots. When I look in mirror at my buddy behind me with low beam only and no spots I see him back there but not a real attention gitter. He tells me when he looks back and sees me it looks like a freight train. I ask him why he doesn't run high on and spots so he is seen better? His reply, "Uh....I just never think about it".

I absolutely want everyone around me to think I AM A FREIGHT TRAIN and shudder at the thought of pulling out in front of it.

If some ninny thinks it is too bright, sorry bout that, sometimes things aren't perfect.

show your proof that it doesn't happen , tons of data shows it does even with great big red trucks with red and blue flashing lights, dot trucks , car on the side of the road etc.

High beams are allowed on motorcycles in the day, the flashing light is a frequency that doesn't register as "proceed". It is more apt to be noticed however. High beams during the day are not rude nor dangerous.
as I said "some states" I don't pretend to know every law in every state but again show proof of a single state statute that specifically allows motorcycle to run brights on all the time or even during daylight hours.

rude or dangerous that an opinion, you know mine, you have yours

In Texas it is legal to ride with your bright lights on to make you more visible on a bike. Since I have an ultra with the spot lamps on each side of the headlight, I always run with the low beam headlight on and the spot lamps on all the time. I figure 3 lights are better than one.

I started doing this last year when I was up front in a group of bikes. 1 guy really stuck out behind me with his bright light. When stopped I asked him why his was so much brighter than everyone else's and he said he had his high beams on. And seriously ridicules for any one to say high beams in day time blind on coming traffic, absolutely not true. Do what you want but rest assured if it's daylight my brights are on. Huge difference.

High beams used within 500 feet of another vehicle in the badger state is illegal on top of extremely rude and dangerous. I myself like multiple lights on but not bright/blinding lights.
Flashing lights are misleading. Many people assume a flashing light means go ahead and proceed. Therefore they believe you gave them the go ahead to turn right in front of you.
