Default Tour pak relocator

Time to give the boss some more room.
Im looking at the DK Custom fixed relocator and the kuryakyn adjustable one.
I like that the DK doesn't raise the pak up and it looks solid as heck. It's also under $100. But I'm not that big a fan of the set back look it has when all the way back, which it will need to be.
The Kuryakyan adjustable will give the boss a little more room but raises the pak an inch or a bit more. It will also let me move the pak up when I'm riding alone. Unfortunately it's also about 2.5 times the price.
Since I ride 2 up most of the time I'm thinking I might just have to get used to the look of the DK.
Is the ability to adjust the Kury worth that much extra money?

I have had my Kuryakyn one on for 3 years. Wife loves it. Only time I move it is when my grandson wants to ride which is not often.

George Anderson makes a great product. That's where I got mine. Good price and made here in the US of A. I'm assuming he's still in the business.

I've looked at the Anderson one. It looks like a solid piece but does raise the pak just under an inch. It's also about $80 more than the DK. The DK is also made in the USA

I also have a George Anderson plate, bought it for the 09 and then transferred to the 2012... works great and the power coating looks like the day I bought it. Its the only one I looked at, but a very happy user.

Be Safe JIM

Does it raise the tour pak any?
It does claim a 3" gain which is .5" more than DK. Still, the DK is stainless steel, rather than aluminum, and claims to add rigidity to the rack. I'm thinking the extra stiffness might be needed putting the pak back that far.

Thanks for the input so far, please keep it coming.
I'm probably WAY over thinking this...
