Air Cleaner Question
Do the air cleaners for the '06 fit the '07 bikes?
Ness Big Suckers are listed as 00-07 and then they have some for 07 only............I'm kinda at a loss.
Does anyone know for sure that all the air cleaner backing plates are the same?

They are the same. I have swapped my Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage I from my '07 ultra to my '05 Fat Boy (which has a SE Stage I)for a short time. Same size, same bolt pattern.

Steve - I don't believe the backing plates have changed for '07. I just bought a SE Heavy Breather kit and it fits 00-07 (except MM injected touring bikes from 99-01). I can take a pic of mine later if nobody else can confirm with certainty.

The 18-507 is for $127, while the 18-501 is $107. They are identical but they say the 507 is for the 07's while they say the 501 is not.
I have the 501 on my bike now, and I'm getting ready to do some installs on an 06 and an 07. I need to order the parts, and I'm trying to get the best deal and not get ripped off for $20 is the 501 will fit.

I have the 18-808, are all the filter elements the same? Part # for replacement? Are they preoiled? What oiling/cleaning kit you use?

A timely post as I was wondering the same thing. I did a search on here and found some info stating in 2006 there was a change and the bolts are not long enough to use a 2005 and earlier Arlen Ness air cleaner on the '06's and '07's.
I have an Arlen Ness A/C part number 18-500 that I bought for my 2005 Softail. I traded the softail in for an '07 Electra Glide Classic. Eastern Performace is selling this same air cleaner on ebay stating it fits'00 to '07 bikes. I can't really find a difinative answer.
Does any one know for sure?
