Before the mods jump on my case, yes I've searched around. Now its time for a little rant.
This morning on my way to work I was almost run over by a driver not paying attention. Kinda hard to miss me (Phase 7 LED headlight, reflective vest, orange helmet w/ reflective stripes) IMO. So as this driver came into my space bubble, I hit my horn........no reaction from the driver. Still hitting my horn, I flip from high beam to low beam a few times, THEN I finally get a reaction from the driver.
I've made the decision that I'm gonna replace the stock horn with an emergency/police horn. Once I get one and install it I hope to post pics and video.

There are several aftermarket horns that get up into the 110-120 decibel range. Most are air horns that require adding a compressor. Some use the oem horn footprint, some are a more traditional trumpet arrangement. Be aware that if you ever plan to put cooling fans on you will likely need to stay with a oem footprint.
I`ve been using the Stebel mini air horn. Cut it apart and stashed the compressor in by the fuse box and ran air line up to between the cylinders where I mounted the air horns behind the horn cover.
I added 2 more horns to my bike's factory horn. From Amazon, Fiamm high / low note horns, around $25 total at the time. Mounted them on the gas tank front mounts pointing forward. Tapped them into the factory horn connection.
Now it sounds like an old Cadillac Fleetwood, plenty loud, cost effective. https://www.amazon.com/FIAMM-72112-F...low+note+horns

I bought the same horns and mounted them in the same place. I also added a relay and fuse to insure the horns get power directly from the battery. With the factory horns and the two additional ones it's pretty loud.
