1986 Shriner model
Everyone here was tremendously helpful in my last post so here is another. While i am still looking at the 91 FLHS another bike popped up that has my interest, an '86 shriner model. What do you guys know about that? it has considerably more miles than the 91 I'm looking at but for some reason the 91 owner hasn't responded to me in a while. here is a link to the Shrine model im looking at:

early shriner models were available with the parade motor option, low compression and possibly lower gearing.
I know that is true for an 80" Shovel shriner a pal had
most shrines are green or green and creme.
the VIN for shrine bikes is unique and can be looked up.
the turning remark may be reference to the recent ( in 86) change to the reverse triple trees- which are still in use
