first sorry to hear bout your troubles, second you know they are going to try to fix the bike not offer a new one and the towing bill if your a hog member you get free towing. please keep the faith in the moco and keep us updated
Do yourself a favor and get your money back and get a 07 , I would have never paid that much for a 06 , when you could have had a 96 and a 6 speed for a few more bucks. J.M.H.O.
I am in the minority. I said new '07, and you pay more money. The original bike back, plus the 5 year warranty is what was already offered to you. So, figured you didn't settle for that. Waiting to find the answer, as I have been following this closely. I own a '05 rk custom, and to date, no real problem. Just hope you post the answer before June 2nd. I will be away from the pc for about ten days. That is a long time to wait. Especially in this world we live in now, where everything has to be now. People don't wait patiently for anything these days, and I ,too, am guilty of it.
I don't consider it a 'game' as our esteemed TexasRedneck. I think ArticBadger is not forthcoming as maybe he don't wanna 'jinx' the deal or knowing MOCO people are floating around in here... doesn't wanna jeopardize what is in the works as either the ink isn't on the paper yet or the ink hasn't dried. Don't wanna hurt whatever deal is in progress. Fully understood by me .... but I, as well as many ... am dying to know how the dealership and MoCo are gonna do ya 'right' (not talkin about stickin ya in a stall with George Michael either)
Iceman, I couldn't have put it better myself. That is exactly the reason this isn't what the moco/dealerships "INTEND" to do, but what theyhave "DONE". Well, they aint finished "DONE"ing yet!
My most sincere of appologies for any discomfort thishas caused to all following the story. However, please be advised that I can not be legaly held responsible for any effect this story may have on any individual(s). Nothing would make me happier than to have this come to an end. Believe me. I do appreciate all the support though, it has made this a little less brutal. By sharing this with you all I've been able to find the humor in some of it to help me keep my temper, in turn helping me keep the wife calm.
We will be ending the poll when the whole thing is done or on the first of June.
