Dear Whining Troll,

Did you not win an 07 in a raffle or something? Did you get run over by someone riding an 07 or fall of the back off one? Are you from the future and were taken advantage of by an 07 owner in your past? It's funny that all of us who HAVE 07's and would be crying blue murder if they were crap are quite happy and that you can only whinge about them and Harley's in general.

You should start your own forum. Start by registering the domain name "whingingtroll.com", then get a $99 a year hosting package from POWWEB, the go to getvanilla.com and get your forum software and your away!! You can sit in your little room, master of all your survey in your own little virtual world and ban anybody who says anything good about Harleys, or anything involving common sense or logic... you would be in your glory!

Good luck, hope Santa brings you a clue for Christmas.

Howdy,

$2k extra for a 1 year newer bike, extra gear, wider rear, bigger motor etc etc and you said no? No offence mate but I think you may have shined yourself on by saying no to that. You may want to put pride aside for a second and SERIOUSLY rethink that. It is not really costing you $2k more to get the 07 as opposed to how much less you would probably get if you tried to sell the 06 a month later and that would be the real COST of the whole experience and I am certainly not just saying this because I have an 07... infact quite the opposite. I waited an extra 7 months for an 07 because I would have felt ripped off getting an 06 seeing as how much new and improved stuff it had. Anyway just my two cents worth and I would hate for you to regret this decision later and say "I should have paid the $2k"... just try and place yourself a year down the track and think retrospectively. I am sure many on here would agree with me. As my grand dad used to say.... "never cut off your nose to spite your face!".

In any case I am glad things turned out well for you whichever way you go.

Regards,
Dean

I really don't understand how in the world they could have found an '06 either. I also would have much rather had an '07. Mine runs fantastic and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I think you are just "snake bit" after your experience and I don't blame you but the '07's are fantastic.
Although my experience is in the new car biz, it's really not that strange to find new, never titled or licensed vehicles well into the next model year. We didn't sell our last '06 Navigator until late this past February. With the big changes the Moco made for the '07 model year I would imagine lots of people went with '07s instead of '06s just to be the first on the block with the newest. Happens all the time. BTW, that's howI got the great deal on my '06.

OK I understand now. I thought you had originally bought an '07. I forgot you bought an '06.

There's many like you in denial and we have learned to over look such remarks. If you had the slightest clue as to what is going on with these 07's you'd be showing at least a little intelligence. I personally own one of these 07 Ultra Clatters and like many other know what I'm talking about. As for the Troll thing, you'd best check yourself out, I'm not the one spying anddoing damage controll for MOCO.

rmsurveyors,

I have an '07 Ultra that I love. I know many '07 owners that are happy also. What problems do you have? Have you tried to get help here on the forum? I've owned a few motorcycles in my day and this one is the best by far. I can't wait every day to get on and ride. I did 145 miles yesterday just for fun.

It's all over. We picked up the new '06 a week ago friday. The whole thing took most of the fun out of it for me. I've put about 400 miles on it so far. Rides nicer and smoother than the sporty. The nacell breaks up the wind pretty good all by itself, and the backrest makes for better support when dealing with a windy day. Even without the backrest it's less windy than the sporty in similar winds.

It is SLOW though. I still haven't let her loose, but I can already tell the sporty would just smoke this rkc. Granted the sporty has a stage one done. Even so, the rkc is supprisingly sluggish. I've got the parts picked out for the stage one, will be ordering them this week. Looking at v/h slip on turn downs, the fuel pack and the kuryaken skull air cleaner.

I ordered the chrome switch housing kit with clutch and MC that arrived on friday. Damn thing doesnt fit. The stock MC is 11/16, the one they sent is 9/16. The part I dont understand is the bolt on the 9/16 (new part) is too big to fit through the stock brake line. Is that the way it's supposed to be, or is the whole thing screwed up? Man, this is starting to irritate me. Cant anyone sell/senda correctworking productanymore?

Pics of the new ride:

well, duh.... horsepower to weight ratio the sporty has your road king beat hands down. i think after you do the stage i, you'll be a little happier, then after you do a long road trip on the king, you'll be a lot happier.

You typed rkc, in my eyes, that is the rk classic. I refer to my rk custom, as such. Also, when doing the ac, I suggest going with the an bs. I went with SE AC, and just put a k & n in it today. With the AN, you can get the chrome bracket, now, I have to pay extra to get the stupid thing.[:@]

Glad you went with the rk custom. Speed may not be there yet, but you can always throw money at it, and fix that problem. I only have the 88", and with the k & n, it seemed to wake up a bit more. I will do a 95" at some point...way down on my wifes list of thing to do.[:@]
