Default V-logo indicators

Does anyone have the V-logo turn signal indicators ( 91578-00 ) mounted on
their Road King ??
Like 'em ??
While I have it apart swapping bars, I thought this might be a good addition.

Thanks,
Jake

Yeah, I have them and I like them. I put them on to get easier signal indication without having to look down to the console. The only negative thing was that they will interfere with a tach mount depending on which bracket you use. Also, it's a good idea to use a 3 pin male/female disconnect for the wiring for ease of later removal of the shroud.

Thanks,
That's exactly why I want it.
I would rather have the indicator lights up front in my field of vision.
I have the combo speedo/tach so it should be no problem.
Are they easy to see in the daytime ??

I was lookin at those too. Are they easy to install? How do you run the wires, do you need to drill a hole in the chrome handlebar mount cover?

One of the best and cheapest mods I've done. Yes you have to drill a small hole in the cover. They are very visible in all lighting conditions. I had a little trouble with the wiring only because I am a little color blind. I think the colors were purple & lavender. I had no idea. I even went out and bought one of those Reveal light bulbs that are supposed to show the true colors - still could not tell the differance. Then I noticed that the plugs have very small numbers for each wire so I get my magnifing glass.... that worked. I am a little **** so every time I hit the turn signals I have to look to see if they came on & then, of course, I have to look to see if they went off.

Yep, decent visibility in the daylight. A drill templateis supplied with the kit and 3 holes need to be drilled in the handlebar cover/shroud (1 for the wiring, 2 for the mounting screws). The wiring connection is fairly basicand is all contained within the headlight nacelle.

One of the nicestadd-on features for yourRKC! I really like mine...they're easy to see in the daylight and I don't have to drop my head to search for the signal indicator on the console.

I highlyrecommend them to anyone who has a Road king.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]
