I have a Memphis Shades screen on my RK, not sure how old it is, could be as old as the bike (2002). At the bottom of the screen in the blue tinted section it's kind of got this "crazing", doesn't appear to be on the surface but in the plastic itself? Any ideas? I mean it doesn't affect me when I am riding, I am more just curious.
I had the same thing happen to me with a oem shield years ago. At that point in time my bike was always sitting in sun baking I just assumed that did it.

I would guess they're from age, exposure to the sun and the elements, and stress. There's a good explanation of "crazing" on Wikipedia. Check it out.

I had the exact same thing happen. Get in touch with Michael at M.S. Give him the numbers at the bottom of your shield and he'll know how old it is. If anything can be done Mike is the guy that can make it happen. The customer service at Memphis Shades is excellent. Keep us posted on how you make out.
