Default relocating whip ant

I am interested in relocating the whip ant to the center of the tour pac on a 07 EGlide Classic. I don't like the location cause it looks unbalanced. When I relocate the ant, has anyone have an idea of what to do with the holes that are left behind?? I am also at the same time going with a JM shorty. Any advice will be appreciated. Remi

I think alot of people just leave the mount. You could take the mount off and have some body and paint work done. I just cut mine down to about 15 inches and it doesnt bother me anymore

I might have to get someone to do the paint and body work. I really want the shorty and in the middle of the tour pac.

I used 4 chrome washers stacked up with a chrome castle nut on top to cover the antenna stud. Eventually went back to using them though when I went to a pair of J&M antennas. (I wanted to be able to use the CB)

trmn8tr, that is a great idea with the chrome washers and a castle nut.... I know folks were wondering about using the JM shorties for the CB....How was the reception/use of them?? Remi
