I bet fuel moto will have one very soon to start R&D with. But with the current motor comes a new ECM. It may take time for the aftermarket to come up with tuning solutions.
Spoke with fuelmoto. They have a 17 107 arriving this week for testing/tuning/R&D. Good news is that the ECU is the same Delphi unit in previous Rushmores.
Read on another forum, initial dyno testing is coming up with 89HP and 99TQ at the wheels. Add some exhaust/intake and a non EPA tune and i'm betting it will be a completely different story.
Ready and waiting for the multi-valve engines.
They are not a big departure from the T/C whtsoever, like that engine was to the Evo engine.
One engine for Softail,, Dyna, Touring, with a 55mm t/body, alternator looks a bit overkill, and a new Bosch/Delphi ECU, which is currently being "unlocked".
What HD was doing is no different than GM or Ford, modifying their emissions-passed products, and offering a product, to do so.
The squealing-seagull performance product line may be on the end also?
The EPA is like any other government agency with beacoup' taxpayer dollars to slop, slush, and squander as deemed.........they aren't looking to squelch a business, they would rather take the money in order to maintain the slop, slush and squander, to include, at one time for instance, a rigorous study on bovine flatulence as a form of pollution.......

My understanding is that the 107 and 114 have the same Delphi ECU as the bikes since the start of Rushmore. Is that incorrect? I believe the new injectors are Bosch but the ECU remains consistent with all the technology in the hand of tuners today.
Yes, but a new frame comes out in 2018, and then a new dutyquadwamjammer comes out in 2020. Then in 2022............
By the time you wait for a bike that has been fully tested, you're too old to ride it and too poor to pay for it.
Ask your wife for your pair back and take a small risk. I say small because you get a two year warranty with that brand new engine.
Beary
Very good!!! Life's too short. There will always be a new incremental whizbang upgrade but the next upgrade of this scale is a decade away. Plus in the interim don't be surprised if future bike's engines and performance are controlled even more by the government.
The ECM in the 2017 Touring Milwaukee Eight is indeed a Delphi unit; albeit new. We are already able to read/write to it and are currently sorting thru the definitions and other data. The OEM calibrations are significantly different than 16-earlier models. We are working on Power Vision functionality with a full effort, we expect to be fully flashing ECM's in the next several days and will go straight into calibration development. There is a ton of work to do, as the calibrations and components are completely different but we will have products to market quickly. We'll post initial dyno info and data in the next day or so and as we continue to work forward.
Thanks fuel moto, looking forward to seeing and hearing everything you find out. To answer another posters question, the second set of spark plugs are in the heads, so you need to remove the tank, pull the head and have a special tool it looks like. Owners manual shows every 30k or every two years.
