I like the new bikes but not enough to trade in a paid for bike. I definitely don't see how trading in a year or two old bike makes any sense, no offense.

Hate that dealer, wish it wasn't 3 miles away!
Same here (without the sign), went into local dealer and floor was packed with bikes. Walking around for about 5 minutes looking for a '17, salesman comes over and says they're down in the service dept. He says all the bikes on the floor are '16's (and a few '15's) and until they can move a few they can't bring the new ones up. He did take me downstairs and showed me a '17 RG they were assembling. Can't see them making great deals on trade-ins like they did when the Rushmore's came out, seems they just have too many new old bikes to move. JMHO!

Your right trading in a bike make no sense, so i lost my F******* mind and trading in two. I unloaded my 2013 road glide and 2009 night train, many sleepless nights, but i am going to build my dream bike. I didn't care for the rushmore upgrades, or any of the new stuff but all of that on top of the new motor sent me over the edge. It feels like, runs great, and its the new motor thats going to be around for the next 15 plus years, i swore i wouldn't buy first year, but i really wanted a new bike. Your right though, on paper makes no sense, i have truly lost my friggen mind

Ok, I'm back to reality... Got the call back from the dealer this morning and for my bike and $7500, I could take a 2017 home. Yeah, I think I'll wait on that one... I also checked with another well known dealer in Daytona for a 16 RGS and they were only discounting them $1K while offering $1K less for my bike. A new bike would be nice but as some of you already mentioned, it makes no sense. So I will be happy with my "paid for" 15 FLHTK and continue to put many miles on with a smile. Happy riding Gents.

I rode them today and it feels like a lot more than 4/5 on the butt dyno. The 107 pulls hard and just feels more powerful than the 16 but i will not be trading my 16 for the new one not enough improvements to justify
