Default Suspension on 17 Touring
looking at a few videos.. I'm thinking HD finally ditched the cheap Shower air shocks and went to a full coil......onward and upward

If that's the case it would be a step forward. Worse part of the street glide is the awful suspension.

Street glide specials come with coil overs. Regular ST Glides do not. However the 14 to 16 regular St Glides airshocks are better than the earlier models, on my 10 I had put coil overs, big change in handling.
My 16 I will be putting coilovers on it.

It looks like all 2017 touring bikes get the coil overs

One of these days H-D will spoil us and put truly top quality suspension on their bikes! My FXDXT had fully adjustable 2-way damping at both ends, as do my Buells, so they know what it takes.
