Anybody using a clear view shield on a road king getting front end wobble? I have a 24" shield with the extra width and am getting some noticeable wobble over 70mph. I took the shield off and the bike rides as normal at the same speeds. Appreciate any help/feed back. CS says they've never heard of the issue.
My bike is much older I admit, however when I had a stock oval windshield it created all manner of handling problems, including the wobble you mention. If your shield is larger than a stock one that may explain the change of handling. Check your fallaway and if necessary adjust your steering head bearings. Also check tyre pressures and ensure they are spot on. I changed brand on my bike (Avons) and gained an immediate improvement.
Extra width provides extra leverage across the steering neck. Air flow across a windshield typically is not smooth, it oscillates back and forth. So yea, you've got an increased chance of wobbling, which is self-feeding.
You can probably dampen it quite a bit by simply tightening the neck bearings. You could also use a hydraulic steering damper.
I have the stock height CV shield with recurve. No such wobble. On my NC-FL trip last month with cruise set to 75mph, I did a no-hands for about 15 seconds on a flat stretch of asphalt opening the cap on a bottled water. Bike ran true and straight.

I have the 17" with re-curve on my 02 RK... and the 8" with re-curve on my 12 SG... I'mmmmmmmm a huge fan!!! no issues, at any speeds... it may be because of the size/dimensions of yours.

The problem I'm facing is I have to go bigger, up to 26" and it's non returnable because it's a custom size. If I'm getting the wobble at 24 I'm sure it'll be worse at 26
