I know this is is off topic but I was just wondering how many of you guys have tattoos and what do think of people that do. I have a couple, upper arm and shoulder covered on bouth arms.
I got one and am going back in August (waiting list) to get another I like them as long as they are original and not some prefab stensil thing. I think they should mean something to you and not just a spur of the moment thing.
Got one right after I retired back in '03. Its of the Harley Bar & Shield with barbed wire. Not very original but I like it and that's all that matters...[&:]
I have two and will probablyend up witha couple more befor i take the big dirt nap, the better half has three, and one piercing. I say too each his own because you are the one who has to live with them
2 on my right arm, 1 on my left shoulder, and workin on finishing a sleeve on my left arm!! So the question now is, do I consider the sleeve 1 big tattoo or is it a shole bunch of little ones?!?
I usually get mine when I can come up with something that fits the meaning. They all have something to do with my Bro's. That way, when I ride, we all ride.

I echo this sentiment. Mine have to have meaning in my life as well. For that reason, I have only one right now and will be getting another soon.
My first tatoo was at age 41, at the anniversary of my heart attack at age 40. I made a full recovery and was removed from all phyical restrictions6 months later. The tatoo isa band around my left bicep, it's my personal healthy EKG (heartbeat)afterrecovering.
It reminds me that I've been blessed witha second chance in life. It's a positive symbol in my life, now.
The next will be a celtic cross, that my wife and I will be getting together. As faith is an important part our lives.
