To the dealer for documentation back to HD and the assy. line, maybe assembled by a "casual employee" and other bikes on that date of manufacture had or will have that problem. Just saying.

I agree, take it to the dealer! And don't take the "that's normal" crap they try and pull. Hopefully you have a good reputable dealer that will take care of you fast. (I have yet to find one)
I just toured the engine plant, and I was surprised at the crew that assembles the engines. I was expecting burly biker type guys (which there are some) but most on the assembly line were younger women.
It was pretty neat to see all of the QA that goes on during the assembly process, but people do and will make mistakes. Hopefully it's an assembly issue, and not a flaw in the new design.

Took it to the dealer and service tech says no biggie. It is a same day service job. But parts need to be order before they'll take me in. In the mean time he says I can ride it and just monitor oil level. They requested pics so I gave them the same pics on here. Today I rode again, its the same distance I have been doing for past several days now to get the 500 miles mark at under 2500 rpm. The oil leak seems getting worst.
This coming weekend I'll ride it to the dealer and in front of everybody I'll add oil in the filler plug. Lets see what they say.
This is starting to pissed me off. I can understand a loose frame hardware. It's common to have a loose bolts on the frame. But an oil leak?
Below are parts on order.

This happened on my wife's 2016 Slim S ,oil all over the feed and return lines on the ride home. Almost brought it back! Cleaned it up and was all dry after the second ride. Don't worry about IT!
Just bought 2017 street glide special ... noticed around 600 miles oil all over my exhaust air cleaner and saddlebags , essentially all down the right side took it to the dealer who said he is starting to see this issue . Rocker box seals near front cylinder. I just got it back today he said replaced both too and bottom rocker box seals and a o ring . Road it home 30 miles. And half way noticed that it was leaking again . I wiped it off to see if it was possible to be residual from the corrective maintenance but no it leaked again and all down the right side again. It's going back in the am . Tech said Harley is just recommending puttin new seals in which to me seems like it's not gonna fix the problem . They did 4 jobs just in this week for the same issue . I'm not sweatin it it's their problem not mine and after 3 attempts it becomes a different ball game

Sounds like the M8 has the same breather issues that all previous Harley's have. If you do a breather bypass I bet it will cure the problem.
