Handlebar swap with ABS
A buddy of mine recently did a handlebar swap on his bike with ABS. He said that after the swap he had no front brakes and had to take the bike to a harley dealer to get the ABS reset. I'm looking at putting 14 in apes on my 15 SGS and am curious if I will have to take the bike to a dealer to get the ABS reset or if he did something that caused the ABS to go out.

Read the manual! It says pull the big fuse. If you do that and never power the bike up during the change, your ABS will work just fine when you are done. There are several threads and youtube videos about it.......google is your friend......even if they spy on you!
