Default spots from water

I have a 07 Ultra, black that lives on my carport under cover here in South Florida.
Have a water spot issue I've never seen before. Only on the plastic parts, tourpac, bags, lowers, etc. if you drip water, doesn't mater if it's from the tap or rain water, it forms a white spot. No amount of wax, cleaner etc will remove it, only waiting and after 15 min or so it fades and disappears. This is only on the plastic parts, tank and front fender have no issues, all waxed with the same wax. Almost looks like the water is being absorbed into the paint.
New one on me.
Help and thanks

Go to autogeek.net, they will have the answer. Would be worth a phone call to them.

Try vinegar and water solution using a soft cloth. The vinegar will dissolve the mineral deposits.

Try Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. Then hit it with a good wax and polish.

To avoid water spots, always wash and dry your bike in the shade and make sure the surface is cool to the touch.

I agree with the Ultimate Compound but I would start with a clay bar, then the compound, follow that with a good paint polish then a synthetic polymer sealant, the sealant will help protect from the water spots and last much longer than a carnuba wax. At autogeek you can get kits with everything, sounds like you need to. Will make the bike look like brand new. Also recommend 3 x microfiber applicators and 4 x microfiber towels at a minimum. Again, you can get complete kits, least expensive way to go. Do not use a buffer unless you know what you are doing, a random orbital buffer is awesome and dummy proof except $$$. Lots of elbow grease is the alternative. For plastic this stuff is awesome but its expensive http://www.autogeek.net/cquartz-dlux.html
That little bottle lasts a long time, use it on your cars or split cost with a friend. Only takes drops to make plastic new.

Good luck!

I use Windex when my denim paint starts looking hazy and Smokey, cleans it right up. does the same for much same than the overpriced "HD" crap.
