Well I order a set of speakers today for the 07 SG. I have read every post onthis site about the J&M speakers as well as Hogtunes and have decided that J&M is the best choice. Hopefully they will be here before the weekend so that I can install them and give them a good road test since we are planning a 800 mile trip on the bikes. I will post again after the install and road test.

I ordered a set of your speakers for my Street Glide last month and they were shipped and recieved quickly. Install was straight forward and they make a nice improvement over stock speakers for anyone that is still considering a pair. I too have been researching amps for my '05 Ultra. I have a Sony MEX-1GP installed along with HT speakers. I went with Hawg Wired for the retro radio installation kit. I am looking into the amp for clearer sound and more bass.
My problem is; I already have XM direct in the faring and it's getting a little crowded in there.
But there is no doubt I will have to go with a class T digital amp. Light weight and less power which means lower heat.
I really would like to hear from someone that has been running one of these type amps.

Strongly considering anamp.The research I've done on an amp suggests there are two companies producing good ones designed for low heat/low amp load. Titan ($400) available through biketronics and hawg wired ($600) available through hawg wired.Apparently the best way to get high output and low amperage is to use a class T type amp which allows it to be also very small (but expensive). Both fit under the fairing. With a Sony player and two fairing speakers no matter whose speaker you go with the sound is less than desirable for me.............

You can add me to the list of purchasers. I picked up the Biketronics kit today and I still have to figure out which head unit to buy, but I should be able to install it all this weekend...

Well my JM'S showed up at my door today. I can't install them on my bike yet, still waiting for an HD harness for XM. So I looked at them for awhile then thought Why Not... They make somewhat heavy headphones with some duct tape and coat hangers, but the sound is aweome. [:-]
