Exactly what I needed to know. Not concerned with paint and what not. A very generous guy gave me a set of lowers for free and I was just wondering if I could cut in the vents but wasn't sure if they would fit. Was going to finish the paint myself over winter Thanks!

I I'll give them a whirl this winter and decide on the vents after. I guess I probably need some gloves boxes though and hardware. These thing have quick disconnect hardware or is that just for new lowers?

I see what you guys mean by buying the aftermarket lowers...way cheaper. Still turns my stomach knowing I paid 400 bucks for 2012 HD saddle bags when I could have gotten aftermarket 2014 style bags for same price.
