He took the advice not to change his belt. When it broke he didn't have cell service. Cops pulled up and asked if he needed anything. They called a tow truck, that took 4 hours to get there. But he didn't have to wait that long, cause they brought him for a dui.
I'm doing just fine. I couldn't replace the inner primary bearing because the race walked inboard toward the pulley so I couldn't get it off. I tried to replace the belt but I couldn't seem to get it out without major struggle. I ended up burning up the motor again due to some oiling issues and bought a 17 RGS last October. I still have the 02 and it still has the belt on it. When I finally get around to getting motor rebuilt I will keep the belt on. Thank you for thinking about me after all these years!
