My tour pak has enough play with the stock bushings that it rattles when the bike is idling. I was thinking about getting rid of the quick disconnect until I heard about these. Please do PM me.

On my flhr been rattling for 50k miles. I'd never put a detach kit on dresser for this reason, and I never take it off. I have heard of wrapping with ekectrical tape.

Last year started running 2 foot tywrraps through frame. In case one fails.

Yea, I have a bit of play, But, I don't think there is any way it can come off. The Tyewraps are cheap insurance though
