Hey guys, I'm running in to a problem with my air shocks that I'm hoping someone may have some insight on. I have a 2013 sporty with 2015 road glide air shocks on it. I use the HD pump to air them up when my wife rides with me but the last few months when I try to air them up, the pump feels like there is too much pressure if that makes sense. When I first got them air went into the shocks smoothly and now I can hardly get air to go in to then. I have schraeder valves installed on the shocks and air them up individually. Could the shocks be blown? Any insight is greatly appreciated
20-25psi per shock unless we have luggage too. Literally the first pump of the HD hand pump feels like the shocks won't take any air and the pump feels like it's full of pressure
Have you let the air out of them and started from scratch? You could check the valves and ensure they are both working correctly. I had a faulty valve in mine many years ago and once replaced everything was fine once more. Those shocks are pretty simple things, so anything that goes wrong is probably also simple!
the valving on the pump is not depressing the valve on the shock so you are not actually pumping any air into the shock. I had this same issue on my roadking with a schraeder valve that the hold down nut was just a touch too thick so it wouldn't let the air pump screw on far enough to depress it.

Well done - that is probably the problem! I forgot that I had the same thing many years ago.
