Well you guys are all HALF RIGHT !
It is installed at SOME dealers on SOME bikes.
It is BOTH a battery tender plug & an accessory plug.
It is actually called a FEMALE SAE PLUG.
You can get a MALE SAE plug to a MALE COAX plug to use heated
clothing or any other accessory that use that type of plug.
They can be found at the GERBING site. http://gerbing.com/acc/accprod.html
I agree with Rob.
Some dealers install this plug.My dealer installed it and the battery tender plugs into it.
You could remove the seat and you will see the leads connected to the battery.
Its definately a battery tender plug, very handy to keep your battery in good service. If my bike is going to be laid up for more than a week I plug mine in.
You can plug that accessory plug into a battery tender if you want to, but your battery will still be dead when your through.[sm=icon_rofl.gif]

Read the manual didn't see it there. However........with that link and the couple min. it took to take the seat off, I could see that it is connected to the battery with an inline fuse and looks just like the picture in the link. So I'm gonna go with battery tender. Thank you everyone for all the help.
I was just messin with ya on the RTFM guy....lol. Damn sure looks more like an accessory plug than a battery tender plug butglad you got it sorted.[8D]
I think it's already been confirmed as a battery tender plug, but I was at a loss at first when I saw it. Very easy to trace back and see what it is though! My dealer just installed it on mine, I had no clue until I bought a battery tender, went to hook in the same plug that came with the tender I bought, and found it was already in place! [&:]
That's a battery tender plug and I bought a battery tender at walmart that isn't the exact match (it's a bit smaller) but works fine for about 15 bucks.
Why did you need to BUY a Battery tender? Your signature pic is a SE-Ultra, and Ultras come with a Battery Tender as part of the package. (was in the left side saddle bag with the tender cable installed already on the bike.)
