Torque Wrench
Do any of you use a torque wrench when changing your oils? A friend mentioned that it's a good idea to use one when reinstalling drain plugs. I have never thought it was necessary.
I'm not a mechanic by trade, but I use a torque wrench on everything that had a torque spec. I have ever since I was a mechanic by trade. LOL. I figure if it was good enough for aircraft in the Marine Corps, it's good enough for the bikes.
Haven't broken a single thing yet with a torque wrench.

Yep, torque wrench's have loonnng handles and drain plugs are always well lubricated. Its wise to develop a bit of a feel for things too.
I go by feel on lots of things, but I still use torque wrenches on some things.
Drain plugs I tighten by feel, like lug nuts.
When you do some things often enough, feel works fine. If you feel uncertain, go ahead, torque 'em.
