same here 2020 RGS. Only happens on decel until I pull the clutch in. Could be at 70 mph and rolling off, or at 20 going down a residential road and letting off throttle, doesn't matter two up or not. I asked dealer, they rode, said everything was fine. What I've noticed is that it comes on very quickly on decel, then slowly starts to fade as the bike slows down. I don't think I am sensitive, I just know I didn't have this on my 2018 Fat Bob at all.
Mine is doing this too. After reading the rest of you guys' posts I'm inclined to think that its "just how it is" Glad I found this post. Thanks everybody
My 2019 SGS has same decel vibration as described. Bike checks out fine per dealer.
What's important to note is my 2014 SG is smooth.
My 2019 Heritage 114 is smooth.
All previous HD and Metrics were smooth.
Something amiss only to the M8 Bat Wings?
Maybe ABS brake related?
Sorry. No answers. Just another with same issue and questions
So mine does this also, 2018 road glide, BUT, with me being a perfectionist and ultra sensitive, ive been doing everything to narrow it down. Here is one thing no-one has mentioned, Mine is most noticeable coming down form 3000rpm to 2500 rpm, and AND AND if I let go of the sterling wheel the handle bars start to shake and wobble, Beverly?
so what do you think now.
I've had 2 softail M8's and now a M8 Street Glide. Neither of the softails vibrated on decel, but the Street Glide does. I assumed it was a property of the rubber mounted engine in the touring vs the solid mount in the softail.
