true duels shake
by removing the "h" pipe on the right side does this take off some of the support for the motor?
i noticed at about 70+ i can feel more of a shake in the motor. of course i noticed at an idle the bike, motor, does shake a little more. give it more of the harley feel now. but was wondering about the 70+ shake. sitting here thinking my bike just came back from the shop for the oil leak, i wonder if the forgot something or something is just a little loose. anyhow does anybody have any suggestions about the 70+ shake?
on a great note went about 300 miles this weekend my wife NEVER complained about the mustang touring seat.
she now says i will never bust your chops about spending that kind of money on a seat.
i felt now issues with it either. so we give mustang touring seat 4 thumbs up.
When you install the mufflers , pay close attention to how each muffler hangs on the rubber mounts in the rear.
Seems as though my left muffler needed to be tightened a bit higher than the right in order to have the engine feel smooth.
As the bike idles , look at the rear of the mufflers and see if one shakes a bit more than the other.
Idle should be the worst it will be , but when going high speeds , the engine will be raised in the front , pushing the mufflers down in the rear.
If one is pushing down on the bag mount bar , it will cause you to feel more vibration than you might have had.
I adjusted the muffler clamps and the muffler height in order to get it smooth for my bike.
Just try playing with it a bit , they seem pretty pickey on the bagger models.
