I use a Spyder handle bar mount for a Garmin GPS on a RKC. It fits above the fork clamp cover on the headlight nacelle and is not affected by vibration or rain. Tried to take a photo in the garage but didn't work well. Please see this thread for more info:

FYI. I have bought a number of things from these people and they have been helpful. Their website has pretty good info also.

I just checked out GPS City. Amazon has the Zumo 550 for $711. Seems to be the lowest I can find and they give free shipping as well. I think Im gunna pick one up.

Has that cup holder ever got into the tank. Since I traded up to a Classic from my Heritage, my old cup holder is now useless unless I want to mark the tank with it. Thanks in advance...

nope, doesn't even come close. works great with both cans and bottles.

I have the new Magellan Maestro 3100 and cannot find a mount for it to use on my SG. I made a trip with the car suction cup thingy and it stayed on, but like the poster I did not like the vibration to the unit. I know the RAM mounts are rubber jointed and cancel a lot of vibration, but they appearently do not make a mount for mine, at least yet. I keep checking their web site in hopes that they will have one.
