Default LED headlight bulb installed but feels sloppy

I installed an LED headlight bulb I bought from Fuel Moto, but it has some wiggle to it which to me shouldn't be there. The ring that is held in place with the retaining clip is in tight, but the bulb itself seems to have some wiggle within the ring. There is a rubber o ring where the bulb sits against the ring, I am thinking this is the cause so maybe it's normal? Anyone else install this bulb and notice this? I know I have the ring locked fully onto the bulb as well.

some say that aftermarket bulbs may need some dicking around with seals to get mounted solid.

these reports are not specific to that bulb but many leds kits from ebay and aftermarket

try not to move the bulb too far in or out doing this- you want the best focus you can

--------however some report turning on the light and moving the bulb in and out to get the best focus and then spacing the bulb the that point.

I made a simple ''L'' bracket with a drilled hole to accept one of the phillipp head screws, I used that to tighten it up.

I bought a similar bulb from eBay. It was lacking the locking tab that a true 9004 base has. What I did was to shim up the base with a piece of inner tube. It worked well.

I think I'm going to use epoxy to mount the bulb to the base permanently and maybe get rid of that ring. I'm pretty sure that's what is causing the wiggle.

I put a sirus Cree led bulb in mine. it wiggled and rotated on Michigan wonderful roads. so I double rubbered it and no issues since. stays right where I put it.

Yeah the JB weld did it, I removed the rubber o ring and filled the space with it. Rock solid now.

The only thing permanent is the base plate is attached to the bulb, it still removes from the headlight. Not sure how it will show up in the pictures but I have some before and after, it is much brighter with the LED's.
