Yes it is i run a bandit machine 2.5 inch belt drive on my street glide with no issues.
Check out Tech cycle they have nice drives for your year bike.

They dont understand. Most of the guys have never even ran one.
If they have it was on a old shovel or something.
Belt drives have come along way since then.

I did see somewhere that there is a kit out there. It had, if memory serves me correct, you still had floorboards.

I can take a look and see if I can find it. I like the look as well. Just not sure if I want to do it on my RGC.

do some searching in here i remember an older thread a couple guys did it, as i remember one had some heat problems with his clutch and had to do some cutting on the primary cover for more airflow, the other ran a very open aftermarket cover. dry clutches can be loud.
