I have always loved the look of an open, wide belt primary. Is it possible to make this conversion on a 2012 RKC?
Yes it is i run a bandit machine 2.5 inch belt drive on my street glide with no issues.

Belt drives have come along way since then.
do some searching in here i remember an older thread a couple guys did it, as i remember one had some heat problems with his clutch and had to do some cutting on the primary cover for more airflow, the other ran a very open aftermarket cover. dry clutches can be loud.
