Word of caution w/some of the Wx frame styles. I had a set made w/Rx, but noticed blurred vision while riding. Discovered the Wx frame had rubber bridge & flexible bows which caused enough vibration to distort vision. Maybe not all would experience this issue, but I had to go back to Liberty Sports w/no problems at all...have three pair & love 'em.
Just looked at DVX (Walmart) and would go that route next time - for single vision I don't think you can beat the price with any on line outlets.
Just my 2 cents!
I went to Walmart for some last minute stuff and checked out their Rx glasses , nice assortment and very reasonably priced . I think I'll be picking up a couple of pair next week
My annual eye visit, exam, prescription, and i only fill the prescription every two years. I get Ray Ban, aviator style glasses with the straight temples, very comfortable.
I get the progressive and transition lens, coated etc. Great in sun and at night.
I use to only wear prescription glasses for reading, but now at 70 i keep them on easier than looking around for them.
I just wear prescription sunglasses behind my Long Ride Shield on my bike. Even on the windiest days have no issues with wind in my eyes. If you ride without a shield thats a whole other ballgame.
