Anyone tried this in FL to keep some of the corrosion from attacking the uncoated aluminum and cad plated parts to protect against pitting? Not htat lemon pledge is supposed to be the wonder treatment. I was just wondering if anyone has used this or anything else to prevent against the FL salt. Thanks
I have been using it on my whole bike since I joined this forum, works great, no paint problems what so ever. Does not collect dust either. I use the wal-mart brand lemon flavored stuff. It is the best bug remover I have ever used too. My bike is black and still looks amazing (except for the obvious upside down adventure).
Just curious, what happened to your bike for it end up that way?

I was wondering that myself. Reminds me of when my bike was delivered by the dealer only worse. Mine was onlylaying on it's side when they opened the trailer, not upside down on the street!
I found a product a couple of years ago that works really good on all surfaces, it's called " Wet Paint " I have only seen it at G.M. or Chevrolet Dealerships. It is a cleaner/wax product, it comes with a pump- up fine mist sprayer, and a refill bottle. I have not found anything that works better. JMO, Jim.
I love this FORUM! whooda thunk it? Lemon Pledge (simple wax) is a simple way to keep almost the entire scoot clean. I wonder if it works on the boat as well?
