Hmmmm, I thought that from 2009-2014 they didn't have the full decks, but maybe I'm thinking of another bike. I bought this one used, so it's quite possible the previous owner swapped them out to what I have. The ones that are on there, about 4" wide and 2.5 inches in length. So maybe off a road king? So likely i'll have to find some stock decks for it then.
Okay, so what i've seen, there are two types of mounting posts. One has a stud (guide pin) and a single bolt, the other requires two bolts. I checked, mine has the two bolts. So I'll have to look around at stock mounts to see what's out there.
The stock boards for your bike are just like mkguitar's. Obviously the previous owner swapped them out. I'm curious as to what you have.
But there's a price to pay moneywise, and also potential calf bang depending
on where they sit.
We do long trips and my priority was to make Cheryl comfortable. The biggest part of it was getting the boards were they needed to be to let her stretch out. I tried the Harley adjustable mounts and they suck - limited range and bad calf bang. The Kuryaken mini boards with the Barron adapters have worked very well for us. If that didn't work I was going to pony up for Rivco. But if you can get away with the stock setup, you are much better off. It's a good system other than adjustablity.
Your passenger boards are what I have now for highway pegs lol Ya, going to figure it out and see what will be a good option. I want her to be comfortable for overnighters, but at the same time, sucks backing up and smacking your legs all the time.
She makes you put the toilet seat down, have her put the pegs up!
I picked up the actual stock boards and those are installed. I'm pretty sure what I had on there is the passenger pegs from a roadking.
Now I just need to figure out a good way to stop my windshield beg from smacking against the windshield lol Appreciate all the help.
