I'm new to Harley so bear with me here

I understand somewhat the concept behind it BUT....

Is this just a basic quick fix instead of replacing the chain sooner? Can the chain be adjusted manually?

Thanks for any info

I went with the Hayde M6. Very simple installation unless you strip the bolt head like I did (LOL). At first I wasn't happy with it because of the low rmp whining sound it made. Now after 200 miles there is no longer any whining and the shifting has improved drastically. Sure saves on constant inspection and adjustment come service time.

Better idea, IMO, BDL kevlar enclosed belt drive with dry clutch kit. No more tensioner period. No primary oil, no maintenance, blah blah

I have heard nothing but good things about the Hayden M6. First time my primary has to be opened up, it's gettin one.

Hey, you might want to consider my suggestion, especially with the motor build you just did. The BDL is good for some torque and HP gains resulting from less parasitic losses from the drive line.
