I have a luggage rack where the passenger seat was. Put a duffle bag or some soft luggage there and you have a good backrest. I did 2300 miles in a week that way, the cop seat was great! Enjoy the trip.
Is that a 4 point docking kit? I have one from when I detached my Tour Pak. I didn't think I could put the Tour Pak on it that position where it's right behind me like your's is. I was thinking if I put the Tour Pak on, I'd have a big space behind me which would look kind of weird. Is that not the case?

what he said. in my case, that is a 2 point docking kit (which they don't seem to make for the newer bikes), but it would work as well with the 4 point. you just need the solo tourpak rack.

You need a solo tourpac mount and who cares if it look weird if you have a gap should you use the tourpac as is?? ?? Be a good place to carry a giant comfy memory foam mattress to sleep on too.
