Have a 2001 FLTPI with cooling fan. At about 5,000 miles the fan impeller was apparently worn and rattling. Had to replace the entire motor and impeller - ~$200.00. Now at 20,000 miles it's rattling again. I removed the impeller and am searching for a cheaper alternative than replacing it again.

The problem is that I can't find any references to LeNale on the 'Net, except for these Ebay sales. They had a website (www.lenaleengineering.com) at one time, but it is no longer working. That would worry me in the interest of future support, the fact that the company seems to have no published location, but the price is right and I've heard no bad tales about this unit. That said, I doubt if many have purchased it. You might do a search here on LeNale to find some feedback from owners.
Ive got the Lenale Fan on my 07 SE Ultra, so far no problems, it moves quite a bit of air for its size, and directs the air flow between the cylinders and cools the injectors as well, takes about 15 min to install, I haven't been stranded in 100 degree weather yet to really test it, but it has to help.
On the big touring bikes, if you let them know when you order, they will prewire the fan unit to plug into your accessory switch, really simplifies install, Directions are excellent.
