Canon PowerShots are great. About the size of a deck of cards. Fits easily in a pocket.

You have many excellent choices under $200.00.

Get on with as many megapixels as possible.

Here are a couple of things to consider. Batteried and memory chip.

AA batteries are available anywhere. Some of the exotic batteries are hard to find and EXPENSIVE. SD memory is cheap and readily available. If you have 2 chips, you can have one in the camera and a spare if you should happen to shoot everything up. You can go to your local Wal-Mart or Longs Drugs and have the pictures printed and still have a chip in the camera.

Once you have a camera, you will really enjoy taking pics. I have mine on a lanyard and it hangs inside my vest in a front shirt pocket. Quick and easy to grab it and shoot. My wife caries one around he neck and has shot many great pics while riding as a passenger behind me.

Hope you enjoy your trip .

Just picked up a Canon Powershot SD800 IS. Very small, great photos and the image stabalization feature is awesome if you tend to shake a little. And simple to use, pretty straight forward point and shoot.

Just bought an Olympus Stylus 760 to leave in the bike for when I ride. It's small, about the size of a deck of cards, and it is weather resistant, so if it rains while I am out, no big deal and mad dash to make sure it stays completely dry. It is 7.1 Megapixels, image stabilization, etc. Paid $240 @ Best Buy.

The Olympus Stylus 760 is a good choice. Alot of bang for the buck.
There are tons of choices.
What ever you choose, make sure it is at least 5 megapixels for decent prints.

Any of the Canon SD Powershot cameras are great. They take excellent pics, are easy to use, and have a great battery life. I carry a SD630 in my front pocket every day. Their compact size makes them a plus, in my book.
