Default Trailering a flhuc

I'm going to trailer my bike to Fla this month, what is the best way to disable the alarm on an 013 FLHTUC?
I understand it's all in the turn signals buttons..

if you have your owners manual, it's all in there.

if you don;t have a manual, post back and someone will type it out for you.

2.) do you know how to set and enter the PIN?

With fob present turn ignition switch to ignition
Before Security light goes out turn ignition switch to off
Press both turn signal switches. Both Turn signals flash at once

To get it out of transport mode just turn ignition switch on with fob present

That should be the same for your bike. That is word for word from the card that came in the owners manual of my 2017 RGU and is the same sequence for my 2008 FXDWG

even with the fob present the alarm will still flash the lights on most bumps, unless the ignition switch is on.

On my pre-Rushmore bikes I just put the FOB in the windshield bag and went on my way. Now with the Rushmore's I am told you have to put it in transport mode.... I heard a story that I guy trailered from New York to Florida with the FOB on the bike, but had a dead battery on arrival..... again, this is what I was told...don't know if true or not.... But I will be trailering this weekend in "transport mode"

Be Safe JIM

5 minutes to pull the MAXI fuse and 5 minutes to put it back and no having to remember to take it out of transport mode and then put it back in for trip home
