We use the UClear boomless communication system. It does all the things you want along with the fact that there are no booms to get in the way. We love them and they work great. http://ucleardigital.com/product-cat...th/motorcycle/
I also have UClear and love them, I had one go bad and they where great to deal with after the sale also.
Some manufacturers may require you purchase your devices via an "Authorized Retailer" in the event of a warranty issue. Just sayin'...
I bought my UClear on Amazon and they have the same rule of buying through an authorizing dealer. They did not question my return of a defective unit. I "assume" they where authorized but do not know.
Don't mean to hijack but can these systems communicate with other manufacturer systems or do all your riding buddies need to decide on a manufacturer together to be able to communicate?

UClear will pair with any device using the same version of Bluetooth. And will pair with multiple units so you can talk with a group of people.

The Sensa site says theirs will pair with many different brands. If I remember correctly they even have a list of brands it is compatible with.
I'm considering one of these systems, but am concerned with ambient noise wearing a half or 3/4 helmet.

Sena does interact with some brand, however friend bought a helmet with system built in and we were not able to get them to pair.
I run my Sena SMH-10 on a half helmet and have no issues with ambient noise. Took a phone call once with it and party on the other end stated they could hardly notice. Use it all the time with with a half helmet to talk to the wife on back and others I ride with.
I'm leaning toward Sena. Question, I'm sure it will pair with phone and other wireless setups but will it also pair with the HD Navigation/Radio?
I bought the Samsung Gear IconX and it would not pair with the HD radio. I was hesitant to try the Jabra wireless/Bluetooth setup because of the problem I had pairing the Samsung. Whatever system I go with I want it to pair with the HD radio so I can listen to a variety of channels/music.
I put mine in wasn't a big deal cost 65 bucks or so. Have to take outer fairing and gas tank off to run cable. I ran mine down just past seat strap and attached to chrome fender guard along seat. Going to put free wire in saddle bag with sae to usb power connection .
This way its all out of the way and fully powered. Some guys put freewire on handle bars but I don't like all that clutter up there along with cable and have to take it on an off when I stop.
I still have to get freewire just did this last weekend. Check law abiding biker.com they have videos on freewire install
