I am having the hardest time checking the air on my Electra glide ultra classic.
I even went to my HD dealer yesterday to buy at different air pressure checker. No luck. I just can't seem to get a good deal due to the spokes. Any advise?
My concer with the extension would be exactly what several of the reviewers report. Loss of air while attaching and removing it.
I check tire pressure in the garage before I leave the house. I find that once I have the stem properly positioned (for me) getting the chuck and guage on and off is not that bad. Besides, you still have to get the extension on and off in the same tight quarters.
I believe that if I wanted an extension I'd make my own using a hose with a lever lock on the stem end and attach a Schrader valve to the other end. I think that would make attaching to the valve stem much easier than screwing one ond and result in a lot less loss.
