I have Biketronics' 2-channel amp (BT 2180) and Pro speakers, hooked to a quality head unit using BT's module. Dang pricey, but sound is crystal clear at any speed and all thumb controls work. Folks at BT provide excellent service.

Actually, I think the OP is a Troll.
I liked the fact it was plug and play...

I was giving the OP an option when your buddy bashed on me. He could of kept my reply out of his comment.
My buddy?.... Dish what out? All I said was, He referenced your speaker choice and made a joke about staying away from it and you accused him of trying to impress other people and said nobody cared. I really am glad you found something you like. That's what it's all about. To me J&M is over priced and lacks warmth that's what I am trying to convey to the OP. Having said that, if you enjoy it then it was the right choice for you. Its out of his budget so I guess it's a moot point anyway. Safe riding and rock on!

Oooh look more name calling... Lemme try. What names would you like to be called. Idiot? Nim whitt? Ok just for giggles.... Exactly what's liberal about any of this snowflake fairy? Btw, If I was any further right I'd be a circle. I don't get offended. I treat people with respect and foolishly I expect it in return. Btw: I was totally joking with the name calling. I don't know you and wouldn't begin to assume I know anything about you, your political ideology, or your intellect. I find name calling childish and a tool of simple minded people who can't properly articulate their thoughts. Safe riding.

i am truly sorry. i see that my comment should have read " the motor between your legs, commonly known as a V twin" in order to not confuse anyone into thinking i was endorsing a specific line of audio equipment by some company with a differently spelled name. my bad.

... i notice that the OP apparently did not confuse my comment.
.. lighten up, Francis
...... don't start talking hate, when you're the one unable to understand a light hearted comment on a motorcycle message board.
Oh look a keyboard warrior. I bet you don't walk up to people and call them fool in person.

I know what a Vtwin is. I also know what the Vtwin audio brand is. Since the post after yours named
a particular audio brand and that the OP asked about a motorcycle audio package and not the motor on his Harley I think the disconnect was that you didn't know vtwin audio existed not that I didn't get a light heated comment. In reference to your PM they are spelled the same. Why would you apologize in a PM then continue to be hateful in the thread. You told me not to speak hate but you were the one who called me a fool after I didn't understand your comment. Even though I said clearly in my original post...I meant no offense. Maybe it's your attempt at humor but you tell somebody to lighten up then call them a fool again when they told you they didn't like it. That is the definition of what hate speak is. Geez..How about this... Calling names is for the weak minded.... Don't be rude. Articulate your thoughts. I'll unwad my panties and you close your pie hole via your fingers and we'll be fine. I have opinions, you have opinions and just probably none of us are fools. I really am done with this thread now. Y'all win! You can say whatever you want about me. Snapping at people because they disagree and name calling are the rule of law in here. Common decency is fit other people. To the original poster. I'm sorry I participated in derailing your thread. Good luck and safe riding fellas.

Damn, what a show this turned into.

Once again, you obtained all of that info from my post? Wow, that's impressive.
I ~am~ helping him out in the hopes he'll second-guess J&M being the holy mecca of all that is bike audio.

Here's why I quoted you, specifically... 2 guys have the same exact question and begin researching their best answer. Each guy lands on researching the same product (J&M) and come up with completely opposite results. I found J&M products to be overpriced re-branded mediocre crap with questionable (at best) business practices from it's owner (who was banned on this very forum)

If that's where you want to throw your 900 bucks - I'm sure JMJohn thanks you.
To truly do research and hang out in the audio forum, that same money can be spent in other ways which will eat the J&M and BOOM! for lunch.

And since you asked and I haven't answered, I'm personally running the Hertz MLK components in the fairing and Hertz MPX in the tourpack powered by a Biketronics 4180 amp. Is it the best/baddest/loudest? Absolutely not. Which is also why I didn't answer the OP's question of What's the best? In case you haven't noticed, the OP is yet to reply in this thread. I'm with Sbates and think he's a troll...
