I have Biketronics' 2-channel amp (BT 2180) and Pro speakers, hooked to a quality head unit using BT's module. Dang pricey, but sound is crystal clear at any speed and all thumb controls work. Folks at BT provide excellent service.

My buddy?.... Dish what out? All I said was, He referenced your speaker choice and made a joke about staying away from it and you accused him of trying to impress other people and said nobody cared. I really am glad you found something you like. That's what it's all about. To me J&M is over priced and lacks warmth that's what I am trying to convey to the OP. Having said that, if you enjoy it then it was the right choice for you. Its out of his budget so I guess it's a moot point anyway. Safe riding and rock on!

I know what a Vtwin is. I also know what the Vtwin audio brand is. Since the post after yours named
a particular audio brand and that the OP asked about a motorcycle audio package and not the motor on his Harley I think the disconnect was that you didn't know vtwin audio existed not that I didn't get a light heated comment. In reference to your PM they are spelled the same. Why would you apologize in a PM then continue to be hateful in the thread. You told me not to speak hate but you were the one who called me a fool after I didn't understand your comment. Even though I said clearly in my original post...I meant no offense. Maybe it's your attempt at humor but you tell somebody to lighten up then call them a fool again when they told you they didn't like it. That is the definition of what hate speak is. Here's why I quoted you, specifically... 2 guys have the same exact question and begin researching their best answer. Each guy lands on researching the same product (J&M) and come up with completely opposite results. I found J&M products to be overpriced re-branded mediocre crap with questionable (at best) business practices from it's owner (who was banned on this very forum)

To truly do research and hang out in the audio forum, that same money can be spent in other ways which will eat the J&M and BOOM! for lunch.

And since you asked and I haven't answered, I'm personally running the Hertz MLK components in the fairing and Hertz MPX in the tourpack powered by a Biketronics 4180 amp. Is it the best/baddest/loudest? Absolutely not. Which is also why I didn't answer the OP's question of What's the best? In case you haven't noticed, the OP is yet to reply in this thread. I'm with Sbates and think he's a troll...
