Do I need to condition my new leather swing arm bag with the HD protectant that came with it?

Most retail hard leather is treated before it goes to the consumer.
If its black, its most likely an oil based dye as well.
Put a drop or two of water on the cover flap.
If it runs off its most likely treated
Lexol, Pecards or Skidmores are all quality leather dressings if you feel you need to treat it.
Now go to your room and introduce yourself when you come back out.

It came with an HD protectant? Should tell you in the instructions or somewhere on the bottle.
