Rode with a buddy yesterday that added a BAL1 4 led tail light to his 15 Rushmore. My wife and I were very impressed with how it worked and how it sure gets your attention when you hit the brakes.
Found the best price on eBay at $199.00, no tax and free shipping.
Just courious before I hit the buy button if there is any other brand I should consider? Also does anyone run the expensive $400.00 unit with 12 LED's?
BAL is as good as it gets. One that have has been on 3 bikes and still working. It is on the parts shelf right now because I put a smoked one on my 2017.
If the BAL 1 is not bright enough for you need help. There is such a thing as over doing it.
Thanks all I really appreciate your feedback. I did just add the Custom Dynamics front turn signals and they actually look brighter than my spots. I like their products but unless I missed something they so not off the random flash patterns which really grab your attention.
The wife says she wants the BAL so I think that is the way to go for us.
I've got a BAL on my ride and one on my wife's bike. I feel the attention getting safety they provide was well worth the money. I think that's a good price.
I got one in the classifieds here a few years ago. Gets lots of good comments. Never been hit from behind in 50+ years of riding, so can't say it really helps???
