I have a set of Woods directional lifters in my wife's 2006 Ultra. They came as part of a Fuel Moto 98" big bore kit.
I pulled the cam support plate out to install a set of Zippers dual piston chain tensioners. Upon putting it back together and adjusting the push rods, one of the lifters is taking a long time to bleed down.
I first did the rear cylinder. After 40 minutes or so I went out and checked it and the lifters had bled down so I could spin the push rods.
I then put the front cams on the base circle and adjusted those push rods. The intake lifter bled down in 30 minutes or so but it's been almost 2 hours and the exhaust lifter has not bled down.
Anyone had this happen or have a suggestion on what might be going on.
The push rods are in right and I was meticulous in my adjustment. Just wondering if I have a problem lifter.
I finished this post and checked it before leaving to the store. It was bled down and the push rod spun easily. I'm assuming it's fine and the one lifter bleeds down a little slower.
