My seat is on the way to MCC to get double decker memory foam. I'm excited to have this seat returned. It may be a while before I can ride due to the weather here in the Northeast. Expect an update soonest.
They did the super narrow with memory foam on my Sundowner seat, it was a big improvement. It's been a few years, I have not heard of the double decker memory foam. Report back and let us know how it goes.
I had it done on supposedly the best seat that was ever made an 08 HD Road Glide seat and bought it specifically for the reason of moding it.
I had the Memory foam double decker and got it and it was ok but that was about all.
I had nothing to compare it to as I had never had any of Alan's work.
I used it almost 2 seasons and sold it on here. The guy that bought it said he was not impressed with it at all and said that he had them do work before and he was disappointed with mine and was going to see if they could do something with it.
Alan is a stand up guy from what I've heard.
Had mine done with just single layer of memory foam and the tailbone mod and after breaking it in for 800 or so miles,I am very pleased with the results.Excellent workmanship on the seat.

Got it back several weeks ago, looks great as far as visual appearances go.
I'm betting that I'm another month away from trying it out, Michigan winter weather lingers on and on.
