I have a 2012 Street Glide (FLHX) with two seats I use. The stock seat that I sent off to be retooled and a solo Lapera seat. I love the Lapera but it doesn't have a back rest. I can do without the back rest for about 200 miles but that's about it. I have a back rest for the stock seat but I sit too far forward. I'm 6'4 and My legs and hip flexers really start cramping up on the stock seat after a while.
So, my guestion is. Is there a nice seat similar in profile to the Lapera Bare Bones with a back rest that can also accommodate the second passenger?
Corbin makes good seats and their backrests have a thinner profile. They're a littler harder than some people like but I find them perfect after they are broke in. http://corbin.com/harley/king/hdrk9dte.shtml
