Default Stage One Idea

Ok, now that we've got the new bike "on it's way" I've allowed my self to consider the stage 1. Thoughts and opinions are all welcome.

Pipes:
I absolutly love the sound of my 1200c with the old style SEIIs. Loud but not obnoxious, rumbly when you get on it. I understand Supertrap makes the slip-ons then and still does but calls them something else now. What brands and modelsare equivalent to the SEII's with sound and noise level?

Also, tell me if I'm wrong here, but True Duals have no cross-over pipe and will tend to increase your HP more than they increase torque, while a 2-1 will tend to increase torque more than HP?

Electronics
SERT or PCIII, PCIII or SERT... I'm leaning tword the PCIII so I can tune it myself. Is that a good enough reason to choose one over the other, or should I keep waffeling?

Cleaner
I gotta say this thing http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp...ey&ci=3363is really freaking awesome to me. I'm not going to go for the skull look throughout the bike, but I just think this skull cleaner is what I'm looking for.

Carbs
No, not the kind you find in bread and noodles, the kind you find under your chaps. If I understand correcly:

CV - Stock carberator.
Super 'E' and Super 'G' - S & S style EFI air intake filters.
Delphi - Another style EFI air intake system.

But what works with what? A filter needs to have a corresponding backing plate, that needs to match with the carb/efi so it screws together, right? Too many names for me to figure it out on my own, I've tried.

Two many questions, first if bike is new, then x the carb stuff, no carbs on new harleys. Only EFI bikes need pcIII,sert or other and you should do a search for topics on those cause everyone has an opinion.

Ok here is a well respected set up. PCIII from fuel moto. vance and hines oval slipon mufflers and a arlen ness big sucker or SE air cleaner. I and many others run this set up and it makes awesome power and sound for the money spent.

I just did my stage one I went with the Supertrapp SE slip ons that you have mentioned. I opted for the SERT and the SEAC. I love the combination. I had a Dyno done by Braggin Rights in Clermont and so far so good. Added nice power and the right sound for me!
