Mine came with 16" bars. The definitely look intimidating, like they're going to be too much, and I bought the bike out of state without even sitting on it. But in all honesty they're comfortable so far. Granted I only have about 400 miles on the bike but I'm not disappointed at all with them. And for reference, I am 5'8. The previous owner had them rolled a bit forward, but once I rolled them back and lined them up with the forks, they're about perfect.

As far as shields go, I have 2 shields coming from Freedom tomorrow. Both a 18" and a 20". Its so hard to determine what one you need without having one previously. But John at Freedom was great. Shipped both out in the same box to save shipping and let me try both. I will send back the one I do not like and he will refund me. In the event of not liking either, (I hope that's not the case) I will ask my neighbor if I can try his windsplitter that he has on his CVO. I am honestly hoping that the Freedom shield works tho. I actually like the look of them. I think on @6113_ bike, it looks great. But I have a hard time with buffeting with my full face, so we'll see. But to think of it, when I rented those Road Kings over the winter, they both had stock shields, and I didn't really get too much buffeting. So I guess its a crapshoot. We shall see. I will update once I test out the shields.

I've been tempted to get the windsplitter for my RKS too. something to handle the sail effect when I'm +65mph and look good, but the whole buffeting issue Isn't something I wanna deal with. I just about 6 ft tall. so is in the zone people complain about it.

Also I was crazy to replace my handlebars, but when I moved it forward (just a hair over the forks line) it got very comfortable, so not sure if I'll change it anymore.

In this picture you can kinda see the handlebar angle:

Can anybody help identify the size of my apes, I believe they are MOCO. I like them but want Carlini apes and not sure how to properly measure them. Measure from bottom of bars or middle ? I’m guessing 16”

Based on this diagram it looks like you have 14” bars

Love the 16" bar look on the RKS, but at the same time the stock bars aren't that bad so i could just go with 12" bars. I'm not in a rush to get em, and im sure i'll change my mind on height 50 times til then.

That's great that they sent you both windshields to test out. not many people do that. I'd like to see what you think of them. I am happy with the 16" windsplitter. Rode a bit yesterday and the ride is much more comfortable on the highway, and while i do get wind in my face it's not the bad turbulent wind. it's a steady wind that you should have when you are on a bike.

I'm pretty sure they are 14" bars. Looks really good. I love those custom dynamics turn signals. i was thinking of getting them for the rear brake/turn signals.

From the couple of rides i've done with the windsplitter, i can tell you that, for me, it's not that bad. 6' is definitely the cutoff for this shield, and a lower profile seat could help as well.

That's a great shot with the mountain in the background. I'm sure those roads are amazing to ride on.

Awesome bro. I'm glad i chose this shield. It fits the "meaness" of the RKS. I think OscarN is the one with the headlight trim visor.

Also, the last cosmetic thing i am going to do for now is to remove the last of the reflectors, which are on the saddle bags with these:
